METALAST ProcessPro allows users to model existing processes and to analyze ?cause and effect? of process changes. Some modeled changes include: water stream flow and composition, rinse capabilities, ventilation, material, chemistry usage and utility costs.
Originally designed and developed by partner CH2M HILL, ProcessPro provides functionality unsurpassed by its competitors. METALAST ProcessPro enhances the user's understanding of existing surface finishing processes and helps identify and quantify opportunities for improvement. METALAST ProcessPro supports evaluations and decision-making related to:

METALAST ProcessPro models are based on steady-state conditions. A baseline model is typically entered using equivalent average steady-state conditions. The baseline model is then copied and input values can be changed to evaluate how modeled results may vary over typical ranges of existing facility parameters, or for conditions that may result after making process,
production, or other facility changes. Range estimating, facilitated by scenario modifications, provides a powerful tool to use simplified, steady-state modeling to bracket actual ranges of conditions experienced or projected for surface finishing operations.
