Former Chemetall Oakite Senior Manager Joins METALAST
Minden, Nevada, February 6, 2007: METALAST International is pleased to announce that Jim Reed, former senior manager of Chemetall Oakite, has joined the METALAST sales department, effective February 5, 2007.
Prior to joining METALAST, Jim served for over seventeen years in key sales and marketing positions for Chemetall Oakite, a world leader in specialty chemicals and technologies. Most recently, Jim was the vice president of global and national accounts and collaborated with the global Chemetall Oakite surface treatment group. During his tenure, Jim also was an active member of the Chemetall Oakite corporate management team. Jim holds a B.S. degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and resides in Asbury, New Jersey with his wife Arlyn and son, Ryan.
“Jim’s global experience with one of the largest chemical suppliers in our industry, as well as his work ethic and dynamic personality made him the ultimate candidate to assume this position and to take METALAST to the next level as the global leader of new environmentally friendly technologies,” said a METALAST senior vice president.
Jim assumes the role as vice president of business development and is responsible for METALAST sales efforts worldwide. In addition, Jim will be responsible for cultivating, coordinating and supporting new business opportunities as METALAST continues to expand into additional domestic and international markets.
