METALAST International, Inc., the process control and complete technology provider to the metal finishing industry, now offers free anodizing sample processing and strategy development to manufacturers worldwide, in an effort to improve the metal finishing of their products. The program offers the ability to increase the quality of your product at no cost to manufacturers!
By improving the quality of your metal finishing, you can:
- Cut Costs
- Improve Product Quality
- Increase Profits
Under the program, manufacturers can send sample parts to the METALAST Tech Center for processing. The METALAST Technical Support Team, using the IPC JobPro Process Controller and METALAST Chemistry, will anodize the parts according to each specification. METALAST will custom develop a strategy to process the part or parts.
Manufacturers can then evaluate the quality of the part and determine if the METALAST JobPro and Chemistry produce a superior finish that more closely matches individual tolerances and specifications. The customer can ensure that their parts will always be processed according to the guidelines given by METALAST by furnishing their vendors with the strategy.
If completely satisfied with the custom strategy and the quality of the part, for a cost of $250, METALAST will provide the customer a Process Verification Report (PVR), generated by the JobPro, that describes exactly how the part was processed. Some of the information found on the PVR includes: date, process time, ramping, bath temperature, current or voltage, operator ID and more.
In addition, each PVR comes with a unique report validation code. This feature gives manufacturers the ability to verify the authenticity of their PVR, either via the PVR Online Validation Program or by contacting METALAST directly.
Customers will also receive a METALAST Specification Form that describes in detail the exact chemistry used for both pre- and post- treatment of the part during processing, as well as information on racking and individual part handling.
Should you decide that you would like your vendor to use the commercially available and affordable METALAST JobPro for all anodizing and electroplating processes and the custom strategy, you may direct them to www.metalast.com or have them call (888) METALAST (638-2527).
Excludes shipping to the METALAST Tech Center. Maximum sample size is two (2) square feet. No masked parts.
