Continuing Education In Metal Finishing
2-day seminars in quality Metal Finishing practices now available!

METALAST International, Inc., the process control and complete technology provider to the metal finishing industry, has announced a series of Continuing Education in Metal Finishing. Learn best practice Metal Finishing, tips and techniques with the new Continuing Education in Metal Finishing classes held at the world's only Technical Center devoted to Metal Finishing.

The course is available to manufacturers, engineers, metal finishers and all others interested in learning more about best practices in metal finishing. The class will be held at the METALAST Technical Center in Minden, NV. The class will be presented by METALAST the Technical and Engineering staff of METALAST. METALAST has published 16 papers at technical conferences and over 50 in-house research reports on Metal Finishing.

METALAST has announced that the Company will be holding monthly 2-day Continuing Education in Metal Finishing courses throughout 2005 at the METALAST Technical Center in Minden, NV. The schedule commences in January. Please contact your Regional Sales Manager for dates of the classes.

METALAST conducts the training courses to discuss aluminum, Metal Finishing process and history, Metal Finishing industry, process capabilities and limitations, and the benefits of process control. The course takes attendees through basic principles in anodizng, pre- and post- treatments, proper racking techniques, chemistry, bath maintenance, and then into a discussion on the benefits of process control. Quality control and troubleshooting are also major topics of the class. All attendees will participate in sample processing in the METALAST laboratory utilizing the METALAST JobPro to apply what was learned.

METALAST plans to continue training and education as a means to inform manufacturers and anodizers about sound Metal Finishing practices and process control in an effort to improve the quality of finishing, thereby reducing costs and increasing profits for companies. The training classes allow both manufacturers and metal finishers to sit in the same room and discuss problems, concerns, and potential solutions, with METALAST leading the discussion.
