Santa Clara Plating Installation A Success |

METALAST, the leading innovator in technology, research, and process support to the aluminum anodizing industry, announces that Licensee Santa Clara Plating is now fully operational with the METALAST Technology. The METALAST Installation Team installed the complete METALAST Technology at the facility of Licensee Santa Clara Plating. Both a Type II and Type III anodizing line were installed successfully. Tom Coss, President of Santa Clara, reported an initial productivity improvement of 40% on a key job. Mr. Coss also praised the METALAST Installation Team for their work ethic. Founded in 1977, Santa Clara Plating Co, Inc. is an anodizing industry leader that is know for customer service and high quality in the Silicon Valley manufacturing community. The new job shop licensee also has a sister company located in Oroville, CA. After initial fact finding meetings in November 1998, Santa Clara Plating has shown a tremendous interest in METALAST and the Technology. Santa Clara has submitted several difficult part samples to the Tech Center for processing and demonstration of METALAST’s significant capabilities on real work. Tom Coss, President of Santa Clara Plating, has always been very enthusiastic and supportive of the overall METALAST Technology. In December, Santa Clara visited the Tech Center for technical discussions with METALAST Tech Support and R&D. METALAST is the worlds only complete anodizing technology. In addition to the world’s only dedicated anodizing research and development center, the technology include proprietary chemistry, computer process control automation, education and training, technical support, scientific research, and marketing support. The METALAST technology facilitates production of superior oxides and operating efficiencies with improved consistency, repeatability, and process verification. METALAST is available by license to anodizers and manufacturers, and by consulting agreement to manufacturers. Customers may also utilize the technology for samples, R&D, vendor process audits, and other services on a pay as you go fee basis.
