METALAST, the leading innovator in technology, research, and process support to the aluminum anodizing industry, announces that Trico Products has signed a METALAST License Agreement to become the first international Licensee for METALAST.

Trico Products, Brownsville, TX recently constructed a new manufacturing facility in Matamoros, Mexico. METALAST and alliance partner PLASFAB teamed up and installed the first METALAST/PLASFAB anodizing lines at Trico’s manufacturing facility. Trico plans to showcase their new anodizing facility equipped with the METALAST Technology as the highlight of their manufacturing capabilities.

Trico is the world’s largest producer of original equipment windshield wipers. They supply about 70% of the automotive market, effectively meaning that 7 out of every 10 vehicles on the road will have METALAST on board.

METALAST worked closely with PLASFAB and Trico to ensure all line engineering requirements were met to integrate the METALAST Process Control System (MPCS) into the PLASFAB anodizing line. METALAST, PLASFAB, and Trico executives were all on hand for the recent March installation.
