METALAST Announces Corporate Strategy For The New Millennium

January 14, 2000

METALAST, the leading innovator in technology, research, and process support to the aluminum anodizing industry, has unveiled its corporate focus for the year 2000, which is to target manufacturers, rather than anodizing job shops.

Over the past four (4) years, METALAST has been penetrating the metal finishing market by targeting job shops. There has been a great deal of success in this endeavor, as show by the numbers of anodizers who have signed METALAST License Agreements. METALAST feels confident that their name is widely recognized throughout the anodizing market as the only provider of a complete anodizing technology.

This year’s corporate focus shifts from the introductory phase into an aggressive push targeting the manufacturer. METALAST feels that changing focus will accelerate Licensing activity. With the advent of the METALAST Consulting Agreement (MCA), the implementation of travelling METALForum presentations, and the expertise of METALAST, the Company is seeking the specification of the METALAST process by manufacturers. For manufacturers who control their anodizing in-house at a captive facility, the goal is immediate implementation of the METALAST Technology.

The signing of an MCA and/or the specification of the METALAST Process will guarantee the signing of many anodizers currently recognizing the need to improve their anodizing, but not sensing the urgency to sign a License.

METALAST offers the most complete and advanced technology to the anodizing industry. In addition to the world’s only dedicated anodizing research and development center, the company provides advanced chemistry, computer process controls, education and training, and full technical and marketing support. The METALAST technology facilitates production of superior oxides and operating efficiencies with improved consistency, repeatability, and process verification. METALAST is offered under a license to anodizers. Manufacturers can access any element of the technology, e.g. R&D, technical support, education and training under agreement with the METALAST Consulting Agreement (MCA).
