METALAST, the leading innovator in technology, research, and process support to the aluminum anodizing industry, has announced the tentative 2001 schedule for their quarterly METALTrain anodizing training course.

The dates are as follows:

• January 17-19, 2001
• April 18-20, 2001
• July 18-20, 2001
• October 17-19, 2001

METALTrain was previously called the Licensee Training Course. METALTrain is a three-day course covering the METALAST Technology and sound anodizing practice. METALAST requires its Licensees to attend the seminar before installation and encourages them to continue education after.

The program has been made available to non-Licensees, manufacturers, and anodizers and others interested in the METALAST Technology on a pay-for-service basis.

METALAST conducts METALTrain courses to discuss aluminum, anodizing process and history, anodizing industry, process capabilities and limitations, and the METALAST technology. The training classes allow both manufacturers and anodizers to sit in the same room and discuss problems, concerns, and potential solutions, with METALAST leading the discussion.

METALAST plans to continue training and education as a means to inform manufacturers and anodizers about anodizing and the METALAST Technology, and induce them to submit samples for processing, visit the Tech Center, and/or approve and specify the METALAST process.
