Licensee Erie Plating Receives Environmental Award December 1, 2000 METALAST Licensee Erie Plating Company, Erie, PA, received two consecutive awards from the city of Erie for standards of excellence in wastewater pretreatment and pollution prevention. The most recent award was received for manitaining 12 months of continuous compliance with Erie's Wastewater Discharge Permit limitations during the 1999 calendar year and achieving ongoing compliance with all federal, state and local pretreatment regulations during the period. This award follows the company's receipt of the Pretreatment Excellence Award given for demonstrating excellent wastewater pretreatment and pollution prevention.
