METALAST Manufactures Pay For Service Fee Schedule

April 28, 2000

METALAST, the leading innovator in technology, research, and process support to the aluminum anodizing industry, has introduced a Pay Per Service Fee Schedule for companies that wish to hire METALAST as a consulting partner.

The Pay Per Service Fee Schedule allows manufacturers and anodizers to submit samples to METALAST’s Tech Center in order to prove potential customers the benefits of the METALAST Technology.

The schedule is part of an initiative with the company’s Consulting Agreement (MCA) and remote METALForums, to reach many more manufacturers. While being a revenue source, the schedule is also designed to serve as evidence that anodizing light metals successfully is indeed possible.

METALAST now offers its anodizing service to customers in three options:

  • METALAST Licensee – A job shop that has signed a licensed agreement and has had the METALAST Process Control system installed at the facility. The Licensee is also entitled to use METALAST’s Tech Support and R&D services.
  • METALAST Consulting Agreement Client – A manufacturer that pays METALAST an annual retainer of $25,000, entitling them to $25,000 towards the full use of the company’s technical products and services on a priority basis billed at 25% discount from current pricing.
  • METALAST Customer – A manufacturer that hires METALAST on a consulting basis on a "pay as you incur the service basis." The manufacturer bills at the current published rate without a discount.

METALAST also offers a no-charge evaluation sample program whereby manufacturers may send sample parts for anodizing using the METALAST Technology. The initial sample submitted will be processed free of charge.

Details on the pay Per Service Fee Schedule or Evaluation Sample Program may be obtained by contacting METALAST by phone or online at www.metalast.com.
