Two More Anodizers Up And Running With METALAST METALAST, the leading innovator in technology, research, and process support to the aluminum anodizing industry, announces that Twin City Plating Company, Minneapolis, MN, and Erie Plating Company, Erie, PA, are the latest METALAST Licensees to have the METALAST Process Control System (MPCS) installed at their facility. At Twin City Plating, METALAST Representatives were on hand to install the Type II line. Twin City signed their license agreement with METALAST earlier this year. Twin City Plating, a customer committed to the METALAST Technology for the past year, has plans for future plant expansion to accommodate more anodizing. Erie Plating has the METALAST Technology installed on their hardcoat line. Erie’s staff was very impressed after first hand witnessing of the METALAST Technology producing a more consistent and uniform oxide, on a specific load, at a much faster rate than their current anodizing run time. Erie has plans to construct two additional state of the art lines.
