METALAST Embracing Millennium/Y2K Rollover |
| METALAST International, Inc has announced that their anodizing Process Control System, the MPCS, and their Apple-based administrative network are ready for the millennium. All data systems within METALAST have been selected or specifically designed to have no calendar roll-over problems.
METALAST licensees and manufacturers have asked about "Y2K" compliance within METALAST. The foresight that went into the design and implementation of computer networks at METALAST will help prevent problems for licensees utilizing the METALAST Technology. The administrative computer network at METALAST is run on Apple computers, a company who went through great measures to ensure that their 1984 launch of the Macintosh computer was equipped for the year 2000 rollover.
