| Nissho Iwai Corporation, Japans fifth largest trading company, with annual sales in excess of $80 billion, has submitted a Letter of Intent to METALAST International, Inc. regarding their interest in acquiring the Asian Master Licensing Rights to the METALAST Technology. The company is considering a joint agreement with Techno-Venture Co., Ltd. also of Japan. Eiji Tanaka and Yoichi Ishijima, General Manager of Techno-Venture, visited the Tech Center in July. In addition, two senior executives, Deputy General Hideo Miyamoto and General Manager Masataka Shishime, from the Metal and Ore Department of Nissho Iwai Corporation recently visited Universal Metal Finishing (METALAST Chicago Licensee) and the METALAST Tech Center as a part of their initial due diligence review. METALAST International, Inc. offers a complete technology to the aluminum anodizing industry through a growing national network of METALAST licensed job shops and captive manufacturing facilities.
