Kevin Baranowski is the Midwest Regional sales manager for Metalast. Kevin has 30 years experience in the metal finishing industry. This experience encompasses electronics, decorative and functional coatings, both inorganic and organic. Additionally, Kevin has skill sets in the design, engineering and operation of waste treatment systems (primarily F006), printed circuit fabrication facilities and metal finishing operations. These skill sets include both chemical and capital equipment.

Kevin’s previous positions include being General Manager of a NADCAP and TS16939 certified metal finishing job shop, Regional Manager of a major metal finishing supplier, plant manager of a printed circuit board fabricator and technical sales and support positions. This depth of experience allows him to understand the needs of line operators, production management, engineers and C level positions.

Kevin has a BS degree in Chemistry from Loyola University in Chicago. The learning began there and continues each day. Kevin believes that metal finishing should be a passion and not just a job. It’s how he defines himself.

It’s become trite to say we live in a global economy. Everybody in our business knows this as we watch opportunities and jobs move offshore. Remaining competitive in the face of new competitors is not for novices or the timid. The desire to achieve more with new technologies and techniques must be cultivated. If we do not continually try to outdo ourselves, somebody else will. Collaboratively we will succeed.
