Mission: To directly identify, attract, and sell to customers all of the different products and services offered by METALAST.

Greg Semas - Vice President Sales & Marketing

Mr. Semas has been with METALAST since its inception in 1994. Since that time, Greg has moved up through the ranks, first starting off as an Account Representative, then moving up to Regional Sales Manager, then onto Sales Directory and then Vice President of Marketing before moving into his current position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

As a result of the knowledge gained by directly selling and marketing to the metal finishing industry for the past 14 years, Greg is able to implement better strategies that will help produce more qualified prospects and customers to the METALAST Sales Department. Greg utilizes his experience to implement specific Business-to-Business marketing concepts in traditional areas such as magazine and trade journal print ads as well as new and emerging fields such as website optimization, search engine optimization and search engine marketing. In addition, Greg has implemented many online and offline tools that have helped the organizational productivity and efficiency of both the Sales and Marketing Departments.

As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Greg oversees all aspects of the direct sales, marketing (online/offline), advertising and branding of the METALAST name to the metal finishing and manufacturing industries. Greg works closely with and manages the METALAST Sales Team, providing both in-house and field support.

In 2004, Greg also created and managed the METALAST T-REX (Touring Research and Educational eXhibits) department, which was the centerpiece of the METALAST marketing strategy for three years. T-REX was a 48' foot long tractor-trailer that expanded into a 36-seat classroom and traveled throughout the United States from October 2004 until August 2007. The goal of the T-REX program was to educate, enlighten and brand the METALAST name throughout the metal finishing and manufacturing industries. In 2005, T-REX received a national Business-to-Business marketing award for its innovation and success in presenting to thousands of attendees and hundreds of companies. By the end of the tour, T-REX visited 30 states, presented to over 500 companies and over 10,000 engineers.


Byron Estes - Vice President Sales Support/Regional Sales Manager

Byron Estes is a hands-on, results-driven manager experienced in operations, production, quality assurance, sales and training in the manufacturing job-shop sector. In his position as Vice President, Manufacturer Marketing/CTR Liaison, his duties will include the continuing efforts to develop and maintain a quality CTR Sales Program, as well as develop and manage marketing programs to Domestic Manufacturers.

Byron’s most recent experience includes serving first as the Production Manager then as Operations Manager for Applied Coating Technology where he managed plant operations including production, quality assurance, tooling, maintenance and shipping/receiving. In this capacity he installed new hardcoat lines and modernized existing anodizing systems to increase productivity by 12%.

Byron was previously employed with Pioneer Metal Finishing (a subsidiary of Safeguard Scientific) in Minneapolis, MN, the largest U.S. aluminum job-shop anodizer for precision machines, die cast and extended parts used in consumer and industrial products. His positions at Pioneer included: Quality Technician and Environmental Manager, Quality Assurance and Technical Manager, and Operations Manager. His areas of responsibility included direction of production work force, quality assurance, laboratory, tooling and technical department. Byron was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy, attended the University of Minnesota, and completed numerous courses in quality, management and sales.


Wayne Triplett - Product Specialist

Wayne Triplett is the METALAST Regional Sales Manager for New England. Wayne is an engineering professional with skills in the design and development of systems that improve product quality and reduce environmental impact. In previous capacities, Wayne has been responsible for conceptualization, design and installation of automated systems for customers in the electronics, aerospace, automotive and metal finishing industries. Wayne has designed custom automated electroplating, anodizing and e-coat systems that increased parts quality while reducing wastewater and air emissions.

Wayne received his B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Central Connecticut State University. Wayne is also a Certified Electroplater/Finisher from the American Electroplaters and Finishers Society (AESF).


Eric Tocco - Regional Sales Manager

As the METALAST Regional Sales Manager for the Northeastern U.S., Eric Tocco will be responsible for sales in the Mideastern U.S. His previous experience includes inside and outside sales for the power control system division for the design and manufacturing of AC and DC power supplies, power factor correction units, harmonic filers and power controllers, including serving as a key contact between the engineering department and the customer. In addition, he has served as a regional technical consultant to inside and outside sales, conducted technical product training and covered a specific territory with target accounts including every aspect of sales. He was previously responsible for proposals which range from $10,000 to $30M in value. Eric received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University.


Michael Percher- Regional Sales Manager

As the Metalast Regional Sales Manager for the southern United States, Michael Percher will be responsible for managing sales and technical support for the region.  His industrial background includes a decade of experience providing anodizing, powder coatings and solvent based paint coatings to the metals industry. Michael consulted and supplied solutions to a broad range of clients associated with architectural construction, metal fabrication, automotive and aircraft manufacturing. 

Michael is experienced at conducting business at all levels, from engineers, architects, government and corporate executives. In his previous capacity as a Regional Sales Manager, Michael grew territories on average 35% annually of 6 years, and received the Top Producer Award 4 times. Michael earned a football scholarship and received a B.S. in Aerospace Technology from Kent State University.


Bill Campbell- Regional Sales Manager

Bill comes to METALAST after 20 years of service in the auto industry.  For the past 17 years, Bill was employed as a service manager at one of the largest Ford Motors dealers in California.  Bill was recognized as a ‘Top 10’ Ford Service Advisor in the United States for 10 years running.  Prior to Ford Motors, Bill worked as a Group Life and Ad marketing underwriter for TransAmerica, producing quotes and supporting over 500 agents.

In his role as METALAST Regional Sales Manager, Bill brings customer satisfaction, problem solving and ability to successfully navigate a prospect through the sales cycle.


Mitch Olds- Regional Sales Manager

Mitch Olds is the South-Central Regional Sales Manager for METALAST International. He has over ten years experience as a territory manager, including over five years as an export sales manager in the automotive after-market, working mostly with markets in Latin America. He has also been a representative for contractors supplying metal machinings, stampings, castings, and fabrications to OEM's, Tier I suppliers, and Military Contractors. He has been a territory manager for a company that provides automated lubrication solutions to processing plants of all types. He believes that customer service is the most important aspect of the sales relationship. It is one thing to get a prospect to try your product/service, it is another thing to retain that customer as a satisfied, loyal customer.


Glenn Triplett- Regional Sales Manager

As the Metalast Regional Sales Manager for the Northeastern United States, Glenn Triplett will be responsible for managing sales and technical support for the region.  Glenn has an extensive background in the supply of metal finishing equipment to the automotive, aerospace, medical and plating industries. Previous responsibilities included: Director of Manufacturing Operations, Project Manager, supply chain management, equipment build-out, quality assurance and installation compliance.  Glenn is a previous owner/manufacturer of industrial waste-water recycling equipment and has executed contracts with family operated and Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States and Asia. Glenn received a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Central Connecticut State University.

Sarah Miller- Sales Administrator

Sarah Miller has joined the company as Sales Administrator.  She is responsible for assisting the regional sales managers with customer quotes, orders, marketing materials etc.  She is also responsible for organizing training courses held at the METALAST Training Center and handling Tradeshows. Sarah has worked in the marketing and sales industry for 5 years; originally getting her start with Borland Software Corporation in Scotts Valley Ca. Sarah is a certified Yoga instructor and believes incorporating Yoga with a gym workout is the healthiest way to live. When Sarah is not working, she enjoys camping, snowboarding, and going to Giants baseball games.

Sarah graduated Magna Cum Laude from Humboldt State University with a B.A. in English.
