Q	What is the difference between METALAST International, Inc. and METALAST International, LLC?
A	METALAST International, LLC (MILLC) is a Nevada limited liability company and is the actual operating entity of the organization. METALAST International, Inc. is the manager of the LLC as required by law. The company and its operations are commonly referred to as METALAST.

A	METALAST was formed in 1994 and occupied the current headquarters and technology center in 1995. Since that time, it has built a reputation throughout major industry sectors as a leading provider of metal finishing and fire retardant products and services.

Q	Where are you located?
A	The METALAST Tech Center is located in Minden, Nevada, approximately 10 miles east of Lake Tahoe and 40 miles south of Reno and the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The area is known for the scenic vistas at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the variety of entertainment and recreational opportunities, and the growing importance as a technology and transportation hub in the western U.S.

How do I submit sample parts to METALAST for anodizing?

A

Once you have completed the METAL Finishing Sample Request Form or by fax/mail, you will be given a Sample Authorization Number. This will ensure that your parts are properly matched with your request and handled in the most expeditious manner. Simply send your parts with the forms as indicated by the appropriate shipping method and the parts will be processed as you instructed. Turn-around is generally 7-10 days and for your initial sample, your only charge will be for shipping. For more complex, repetitive, and special R&D requirements, you may want to consider additional sample work at reasonable cost, or one of our technical support programs.

Q	How do I contact METALAST to order chemicals?
A	Contact us as indicated above to discuss purchasing and using our line of Aluminum Anodizing Chemicals, Chromate Conversion Chemical (METALAST TCP-HF) or Fire Retardant Chemicals.

Q	What are the standard purchase terms?
A	Our purchase terms are net, 30, FOB Minden, Nevada. Purchases may be subject to minimums and handling charges.

Q	What are acceptable payments methods?
A	Purchases for new accounts must be prepaid. To discuss establishing an open account, blanket PO, or other purchase arrangements, contact your Regional Sales Manager or our Accounting Department.

A	You can utilize METALAST products and services on a fee basis and simply pay-as-you-go for your requirements. For more extensive users, METALAST offers prepaid retainer consulting (fees are discounted).

Q	What is the cost of technical service?
A	Costs will vary depending on the nature and extent of your requirements, and discounting is available to contract Clients.

METALAST has introduced a complete line of Aluminum Anodizing Chemistry. METALAST anodizing chemistry products include: METALAST Organic and Inorganic Dyes METALAST Cleaners METALAST Etchants METALAST Deoxidizers METALAST AA-200 Anodizing Additive METALAST Two-step Electrolytic Color METALAST Sealants METALAST Aluminum Anodizing Chemistry is manufactured under strict ISO 9002 conditions and is immediately available, with guaranteed performance.

Q	In what quantities or packaging sizes can I order METALAST Chemistry?
A	METALAST Chemistry is available in standard containers. Bulk orders are shipped in 55 gallon drums. For convenience in evaluation, and for smaller users, METALAST Chemistry is also available in a 5 gallon size. Bulk orders will receive discounts.

Q	What is the shelf life of METALAST AA-200 Additive?
A	Used and stored according to proper technical instructions provided, the shelf life of METALAST AA-200 is approximately 1 year.

Q	How do I obtain an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet)?
A	An MSDS is included on the label of all shipments. A separate copy may be requested by contacting our Technical Support Department or may be downoaded from the METALAST Document Library.

Q	How do I obtain a Certificate of Conformance?
A	A Certificate of Conformance is provided with each shipment of METALAST Chemistry. A replacement copy may be requested by contacting our Technical Support or Accounting Departments.
