Seals

METALAST® Seal 6000 – METALAST® Seal 6000 – Additive for hot deionized water seal. Wetting agents and dispersants prevent smut and accelerate seal. Parts sealed in METALAST Seal 6000 may be painted, bonded, or welded with excellent results. Use at 0.1-0.5% v/v with a pH of 6.2 to 7.0 and temperature of 195 °F to 205 °F for 10 to 60 minutes.

METALAST® Seal 6100 – Low foaming liquid mid-temperature nickel seal. Dispersant system aids in smut prevention. Provides superior corrosion resistance and negligible dye leaching. Use at 1-4% v/v with a pH of 5.2 to 6.2 and temperature of 160 °F to 190 °F for 1 to 10 minutes.

METALAST® Seal 6200 – Liquid mid-temperature magnesium seal. Provides excellent corrosion resistance with minimal dye leaching. Use at 1-3% v/v with a pH of 6.5 to 7.5 and temperature of 170 °F to 200 °F for 5 to 20 minutes.

METALAST® Seal 6300 – Room temperature seal. This liquid seal is pH adjusted for ease of installation and maintenance. Use at 3-4% v/v with a pH of 5.5 to 6.0 and temperature of 70 °F to 90 °F for 2 to 10 minutes.
